• AIRTIGHT REMODEL HOUSING FOR MR16 BI-PIN LAMPS – Designed for remodel applications, this 4" low voltage housing features a single-wall airtight construction to meet ASTM E-283 standards. Restricts airflow, improves energy efficiency, and fits ceilings up to 1 1/4" thick.
• COMPATIBLE WITH GU5.3 BI-PIN MR16 LED & HALOGEN LAMPS – Uses a high-quality GU5.3 bi-pin socket for MR16 lamps (up to 50W). Works with both LED and halogen options for versatile lighting applications. Trims sold separately to customize your lighting design.
• CHOOSE MAGNETIC OR ELECTRONIC TRANSFORMER – Magnetic transformer (EL1499RA) supports 20W-50W lamps, while the electronic transformer (EL1499REA) is ideal for 3W-50W LED or halogen lamps. Thermally protected to prevent improper lamping for safe operation.
• DIMMABLE WITH COMPATIBLE DIMMERS FOR CUSTOM LIGHTING – Magnetic transformer works with MLV dimmers, and the electronic transformer is compatible with ELV dimmers. Dimmability depends on the lamp used, providing flexible control for residential and commercial settings.
• UL LISTED FOR DAMP & WET LOCATIONS WITH SELECT TRIMS – Suitable for damp areas like kitchens and bathrooms, and wet locations when paired with specific trims. Ideal for T-grid, drop ceilings, and remodel applications. cULus Listed for feed-through installations.
